I thought it would be nice to go back and look at some drawings I did last fall. I love barren trees. They are always a challenge! I love working with line and suggested details. That's what I love about impressionism is suggested details. These are quick sketches I also did on my lunch break. These are 20 minute sketches.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Some more quick stuff from my sketchbook! I took my paper and drew some small boxes maybe 2 inches by 3 inches, maybe 3 inches by 6. I didn't really measure just "eyeballed it". Just wanting to see what I could do in a short amount of time and not be too detailed. It's a fun exercise. Try it! You may be suprised!<br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14453833408962514327noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6116784569626026217.post-59151597975378151222015-05-06T09:39:00.000-07:002015-05-06T09:39:22.711-07:00Summers last days 5 x 7 oil<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is one of my favorite paintings. It's done with a painting knife on my lunch break, It's fun to see how much you can accomplish in 30 or 40 minutes,Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14453833408962514327noreply@blogger.com0
