Lunchtime sketches
I thought it would be nice to go back and look at some drawings I did last fall. I love barren trees. They are always a challenge! I love working with line and suggested details. That's what I love about impressionism is suggested details. These are quick sketches I also did on my lunch break. These are 20 minute sketches. Some more quick stuff from my sketchbook! I took my paper and drew some small boxes maybe 2 inches by 3 inches, maybe 3 inches by 6. I didn't really measure just "eyeballed it". Just wanting to see what I could do in a short amount of time and not be too detailed. It's a fun exercise. Try it! You may be suprised!

This is one of my favorite paintings. It's done with a painting knife on my lunch break, It's fun to see how much you can accomplish in 30 or 40 minutes,
